Methodology For Cast In Situ Bored Piles
General
The method statement for bored piling outlined below encompasses the comprehensive construction procedures, encompassing the necessary materials and equipment for the establishment of bored cast-in-situ piles. The specifics of these procedures may undergo periodic review and adjustments based on actual project requirements. The piles to be constructed will possess a nominal specified diameter, and they will be bored through the overlying soils until reaching the bedrock strata for foundation or they will remain within the soil to serve as both shaft friction and end bearing piles.

Setting out
Before commencing boring operations, each individually surveyed pile position will be safeguarded against any disturbance. Two reference points will be installed equidistantly, positioned no less than 2.0 meters away from the pile center location. A pilot hole, ranging from 3 to 6 meters in depth, will be drilled at the designated pile location.Subsequently, the eccentricity and alignment of the pilot hole will undergo verification.
